Rubia Pigmenta Naturalia is a Dutch company, which manufactures and sells vegetable dyes.

Rubia supplies the red dye, Rubia Red. This dye is extracted from the roots of the madder plant.

During the preparation of the dye, Rubia only uses its own madder plant varieties. In this way, the purity of the initial product, which is used for cultivation, is entirely within its control.

Different variations of Rubia Red make it possible to cover around 40% of the entire colour spectrum. In the future, Rubia is aiming to introduce different vegetable dyes to the market, so that the entire colour spectrum can be achieved using vegetable dyes.
